Peace House, Ypsi
Our community is so amazing! So grateful to everyone who has dropped off panty food! Special shout-out to those who come on a regular basis! Literally can not do this without ya'll! Quick reminder to please check expiration dates: A little past by "best used by" date is fine… but nothing over a couple months please. I know it is likely fine… I personally eat food long after it's "expired" and also people deserve dignity and folks using the panty often already live with stigma and have to deal with attitudes of "you should be thankful for whatever you get, even if it's trash" ….. we want to push back against that by being sure we offer good foods nicely displayed. #dignitymatters #WeKeepUsSafe #WeKeepUsFed See MoreSee Less

Peace House, Ypsi
Sheri here, my harm reductionist heart loves this tip jar!The amazing folks at Kind – Laser, Skin & Wellness celebrated their 5 year birthday yesterday! (They are amazing and that is a whole other convo to have!). Bucket Babes was there with buckets of drinks (so fun) and had this tip jar. My harm reductionist heart just loves this. How often have I commented that people don't judge because MY drug of choice (my addiction) is socially acceptable. Without the stigma and criminalization I get to enjoy my caffeine with friends in public, social and celebratory settings. But beyond that my dealers don't have to worry about criminalization, and I know my product is going to be safe. So here is your reminder — criminalization isn't actually about safety (if it was laws and public policy would be shaped by science ) it is about control. See MoreSee Less

  • COVID Update

We are attempting to create a balance of meeting the needs of our community with Covid safety. The balance of
